A letter to our DBKL

Don't misunderstood me , i am not gonna start a politic topic, i am never interested with politic topic.

Actually I have an ideal to write this letter to DBKL when I was schooling time, I told my mother about this ideal, when one day my school announced a news ,a school girl has pass away during a car accident just front of our school, a long truck hit and went over her, the family did not able to claim any money from the PA insurance(personal accident insurance) because she refuse to use the crossing bridge 人行天桥. So our school encourage everyone to make a small donation for her funeral , as she was not from a rich family.

For local, sure u know my school, I study in a pretty famous secondary school , Sek Mengah Kebangsaan (P) Jalan Ipoh. I am sure u have lost count on how many car accident in front of the school right ?

Ok go back to my ideal ,i understand why ppl don’t like to use the bridge , is very troublesome , and we are lazy ass :) after that my school have give out a rule , if u are caught crossing the stress without using the bridge , the prefect will fine u , but don’t seem helping much , there is only 2 prefect at the gate , so who they gonna catch if we run in like a mad cow , just like the famous bull running festival in Spin :P hahah I use to run away from the prefects a lot , giving problem ,i am the 1^st one they gonna catch, I am their 1^st hahah no maybe 2^nd enemy in the school, anyhow my best schoolmate was a prefect and she was the top prefect for 3 years ...haha but my best friend :P

The school have giving out a task, essay writing competition about how and what we can do to stop student crossing the street without using the bridge, I have this though I told my mama my solution but she just laugh and can not stop then she touch my head and say u are crazy but creative, anyhow I did not write in, and I feel it was wasted when today I am driving passing through and I saw the DBKL was clearing, cleaning, pulling the death flower , you know in Malaysia we have a mini garden between the up down stream street as a divide , I guess they (the DBKL worker) are going to replant some new flower to beautifier the city , for the image purpose.

I asked my mother : “the school are going to put some fence along the street , leave out only very tinny space between each other, but student still choose to cross by squeeze themselves in to the tinny space try to pass or climb over.”

Mom : “So are u one of them ?”

Me :” The school launch a essay writing competition , cash and title are given to 1^st price”

Mom: …..........

Me : “I think I want to write in a better solution then the fence.”

Me: “ I think the gov can plant cactus to replace the fence.”

Mom : “Cactus ?!!!”

Me: “Yah, the spiky one, like the one we have front of our garden.”

Me: “ Who is daring to pass through ? Who dare to climb?”

My mother start to laugh .

Me: “No ,mama listen , I am serious , u see the cactus have no need to take care , it just grow grow grow, u know how much the gov can save money on fertilizer, watering the plant , cutting , trimming in shape, the salary of worker, the truck of the DBKL , the maintenance of the truck , buying tool , we have the best weather to grow beautiful cactus …..”

My mom just cant stop laugh ….

I am serious after I grow up I did try to research on how much actually our DBKL spend on street cleaning, landscape , gardening and the mini pillar , the fence on the side of the road ? Unfortunately I can not done my research as my gov have a very nontransparent expenses. Lets make a very simple calculation .

I has take a small reading about the cactus , and I realize this is not any new ideal , actually cactus has been used long as a wall, as a fence in Maasai Mara in Kenya , the homeowners and landscape architects has use this for home security purpose. Why our gov , never though about this ?

If u need some color , there is million of choice , many species of cactus own the spik and grow flower too.

From the point of heath , cactus are believe able to take away negative cas in the human body and able to helped to absorb harmful radiation, especially from computer. From the form of Feng Shui it attract wealth and more (as Malaysia gov need it so much , cause the country are going to be empty soon by feeding million on pinara.)I am advised to have spiky cactus, I am not sure about u.

This is very encouraging for city beautifier, benefit the resident health , feng shui , economic , budget cutting , and u have no worry about weather , changing season as we have the perfect weather for cactus habitat, and cactus dont drop of yellow leave , do u have any ideal how much Malaysia Govt has spend to hire clearner just to clean the leafs drop of the tree, the “blowing machine' the maintenance, no need me to more detail it.

I believe with this fence no human are dare to cross the street without using the bridge , neither dog and cat, is not difficult for Malaysian driver to see animal's body on the street cause we dont have a animal education school, we do not teach them how to cross the street. i am sure even the bird wanted to stand and shit , it have to think twice I am sure this solution work 10 million time better then a useless warning sign ,- fine to those who not use bridge bla bla bla , in the same time it minimize car accident , strongly recommended around school area.

Further up, actually many species of cactus are use as herbal, medication , It could be a very good investment for the govt, in a long term , if the govt have the eyes , using the extra space with all the benefit above , exporting the herb, giving the govt another extra income , years come by resident will no longer have to pay tax to spend for gardening , cause I believe the earning are strong enough to hold up the expenses .
